BC Tour wraps up tonight!

The boyz, the band and the crew are getting ready for tonight’s show in Nelson, BC.

The Capitol Theatre is nearly sold out, so it’s a great way to end the BC leg of the “Raise the Praise” tour.

A big thanks to everyone who came to see us on the road, and make sure you check back in with the boyz this summer on Granville Island.

The boyz are in Cranbrook

More than 600 people came to check the boyz out in Vernon, BC! Thanks to everyone who came to have their soul cleansed with a little funk and rhyme.

Yesterday the boyz loaded up in the van for the long drive to Cranbrook. Here’s a pic of Luke and Mark chowing down after a long drive. They had a great time at Frank’s last night, so look for them there!!

Vernon Bound!

Hey, y’all! Matthew here in the van, heading for the interior of British Columbia for our last three tour stopz.

Luke is behind the wheel, singing some hymns as he drives. He’s a great captain for the SS Altar Van, but I’ve always got be the navigator, cuz Luke is always asking if we’re there yet. The answer is typically no.

Mark is riding in the back seat, working on new chair choreography that he’d like to add to the show one day. It looks great, but slightly awkward on the bench seats, but he’s pretty good at doing the splits.

I’m most excited about playing Vernon tonight, in the largest theatre we’ll be in! 750 seats yo!

The boyz and the band have left Metro Vancouver, having saved thousands of souls from North Vancouver, Surrey, West Vancouver, Mission, Burnaby, Maple Ridge and Coquitlam!

Three more tour stopz to go….

Don’t fret, Altarholics, the boyz will be back to Raise the Praise in Vancouver starting June 18 to August 1.

The boyz will be updating the Altar Blog on the road in the interior of BC, so keep reading!

Confession Sessions! Catch-up edition

Woah, it’s been too long since the last confession session here on the Altar Blog. We’ve been getting a lot of very deep confessions in Coquitlam, so it’s time to share!

Jennifer says:

I love theatre.

Hardly a sin.

Anna’s was much heavier.

Lusted after friend’s husband (he has lots of money)

Dang girl!! No wonder the Soul Sensor was smoking after a recent show…

Finally we hear from May!

I went to see the “Altar Boyz” on Saturday.

May, it certainly is true that having your soul saved is typically something done on Sunday, but the boyz are sure the Lord is cool with it.

In lieu of Hail Marys, just do some of the dance moves from “We Are The Altar Boyz” (found here in this spicy behind the scenes video),or just come see the show again.

In all honesty, the boyz take Sundays off. You’d know that by checking the Tour Stopz.

Jesus Merch of the Week: Get out of hell free!

The boyz are on a mission of save souls across BC! They’ve already raised the praise in North Vancouver, West Vancouver, Surrey, Mission, Maple Ridge, and Burnaby.

This week they’ll hit up Coquitlam before heading into the interior of BC.

Often times the boyz meet sinners between shows who are in real need of salvation. It’s for that reason they carry around a jumbo pack of “Get out of hell free” cards!
